![]() ![]() That being said, I do plan on going back to Quepos, but I will not be staying at BW. They were very helpful and accommodating. I have to say the best part of BW was the staff. ![]() I would avoid swimming or wading in the seawater in front of the hotel on the other side of the seawall. No doubt has its problems with sewage and wastewater like much of Costa Rica. Good choice for fisherman and as a stopover to see Manuel Antonio. I was on the second floor and could hear the noise from above which appeared to be from the kitchen above. Early in the morning there was too much noise from employees coming to work, moving maid carts in the hallways, dropping things. The restaurant Las Olas is located on the third floor. There is an attached casino with a small bar. The people working there are friendly and helpful. It is a 50 cent bus ride to the beach at the entrance to Manuel Antonio park. Quepos is a small town so almost everything in town is walking distance. The street along the south side of the hotel has two gringo bars, Los Pescadores and Wacky Wandas, frequented by local prostitutes and expats. All bus traffic coming from the north of Quepos passes in front of the hotel on the way to the bus terminal. Stayed here for one night, Saturday night. ![]()
